My client is urgently looking for a phlebotomist to join their team on a temporary basis. My client is looking to pay
  • You will be required to work ASAP, working an average of 2-3 days a week for the remainder of March, with a view to this being extended.

    Job Role:

  • Draw blood samples
  • Establish and maintain communication with people about routine and daily activities
  • Ensure own actions promote quality and alert others to quality issues

    Personal Attributes:

  • Communication and people skills are an important part of being a phlebotomist.
  • There are many people who are afraid of needles and get squeamish at the sight of blood.
  • You will need to help people remain calm!

    Qualifications:

  • Either a Certificate of Competence, City & Guilds Level 2 in medical assistance or other healthcare qualifications would be useful
  • Understand and apply the principles of the cold chain
  • Be able to identify the risks to health of microbiological and chemical hazards within the working environment
