Sales Support Executive - IT Sales Bourne End Salary: £16,000 – £20,000

Our client is one of the UK’s leading IT solutions providers, offering an extensive range of IT services to a varied client base and has gained a reputation for enhancing the role of IT for their clients by providing a professional, consistent and reliable service.

They are looking for a dynamic and customer focused Sales Support Executive to join their internal sales team.

Sales Support Executive - Duties and Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain favourable relationships with existing clients and suppliers

  • Provide administrative support to the internal sales team including answering calls and monitoring customer accounts

  • Updating sales spreadsheet and all databases - ensuring customer information and sales records are up to date

  • Liaising with suppliers and clients to ensure a high level of aftercare service

  • Handle and resolve account/client queries, and correspondence from the sales team

  • Taking, processing and monitoring orders

  • Keeping records of sales targets and actual figures, compiling them into reports for management

Sales Support Executive - Candidate

As Sales Support Executive you must be a self-motivated individual with superb communication skills and be very well presented as you will be an ambassador for the company. You must be able to work as part of a team and provide proactive and professional sales support to our client’s internal sales team and to customers at all times.

Previous experience of a sales support role would be a distinct advantage along with technical competence within the Microsoft product range. The successful candidate will be starting or wishing to progress their career within IT sales.

Sales Support Executive – Candidate key skills:

Preferred:

  • Experience of working within a busy sales team (preferably within an IT company)

  • 2 years telesales experience (inbound or outbound)

Skills / Knowledge:

  • Desire to deliver service excellence

  • Administrative and organizational skills

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills at all levels

  • Use of Microsoft office – including Excel
