Job Description
Senior PHP web developer
TORPEDO is a creative marketing agency based near Oxford. We provide a complete range of marketing, design and digital services to a wide range of excellent clients.
We\'re looking for a senior web developer to join our team. You need a real passion for coding and all things Internet, plus advanced PHP, JavaScript, SQL/MYSQL, XHTML and CSS skills. Knowledge of content management systems (especially ModX), Flash Actionscript 2 and 3, PHP frameworks such as CodeIgniter and other current web and mobile app technologies would be beneficial.
This isn\'t just a hard-core, pure coding role though. We need someone with solid programming and commercial experience who can take creative visuals and make them work with a good grasp of best practice online, search optimisation, accessibility and what people want (and don\'t want) from ausability perspective.
Ideally you will have worked in a marketing or digital agency and have experience of delivering high quality web-based solutions to clients. Experience of managing a small team would be useful but is not essential.
Based in a converted barn, we offer a great, relaxed working environment. Salary negotiable depending on experience.
