Checkmate Fire Solutions, a market leader in providing quality passive fire protection solutions, currently have a vacancy for a Business Development Manager based at our new Basingstoke Office developing a new region covering West of London, South West England and South Wales.

Reporting to the Operations Director, who is based at our Head Office in Brighouse, the successful candidate will be a highly motivated self-starter who will be able to demonstrate a successful track record in leadership, technical sales, and business administration, and will have the ability to market Checkmate’s passive fire protection services to a range of potential clients, develop a customer base, prepare quotations, read and interpret technical information,’ take off’ quantities from drawings, have an understanding of construction health & safety requirements and handle a range of other administration duties.

A background in construction will be an advantage but not necessarily a barrier to those who can demonstrate that they possess the necessary qualities for the role. Support and expertise will be provided from the two established offices at Brighouse and Great Dunmow.

This is a senior position, as it is envisaged that this will be the person around whom the new operation will be developed. As such the successful candidate will receive a good basic salary, a generous annual ‘on target’ bonus, company car or car expenses (optional), contributory pension scheme and other benefits as befitting the role.
