Job Description
As a Solution Architect (Work and Asset Management) you will be joining a highly successful Consultancy and Systems Technology Provider who have an enviable client base in the Utilities, Rail, Transport, Defence and other Essential Industry sectors.
The successful Solution Architect will be part of a business that have undergone substantial recent growth and have a reputation spanning 20 years. As a Solution Architect you will work closely with clients in order to meet their requirements by providing work and asset management solutions.
Core responsibilities as a Solution Architect include:
- Scoping and defining solutions which match customers’ needs and deliver benefits
- Liaising with presales teams to deliver demonstrations and bids and tender responses
- Writing documentation and identifying benefits for customers
- Advising clients of opportunities for improvements to IT and identifying a roadmap for investment
Requirements for the position:
- A wealth of knowledge of Asset and Work Management business processes
- 10 years Utilities industry experience working on full life cycle implementations
- Experienced in implementing solutions such as Mobile Field Working, Scheduling Engines and GIS
- A solid background in a lead role, owning and delivering design solutions
- An understanding of Ellipse would be highly beneficial although not essential
